Steve Schnugg
The founding member of Synergy Multimedia with over 13 years of AV experience, Steve Schnugg has designed, installed and maintained hundreds of custom home theater environments, automated homes, and commercial audio/video and security integration projects. Steve earned a Business Management degree from Georgia Tech in 2001 and is one of only a handful of Crestron Certified Programmers in the Southeast. Steve has grown Synergy Multimedia into one of the leading electronics systems integration firms in the nation, with an impressive resume of state-of-the-art electronic systems serving very satisfied clients in a wide array of applications.

Jim Costas earned a degree in business administration from Ohio State University and serves Synergy's clients as our Client Relations Manager, ensuring our clients are armed with the latest information on the system installation process, the most complete training, and serves as an after-sale liason for all customer service.

Jim is married and has 3 children with wife Chris.

Scott Schnugg is the newest member of the Synergy design team. Scott is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management as well as a Certificate in Marketing. He has completed training in Crestron’s Residential System Design course and brings a unique solutions-driven perspective to the sometimes difficult process of designing and selecting automated a/v systems. Before joining Synergy Scott was an accomplished tennis player, earning All-American honors at Georgia Tech and playing the professional circuit after graduation. He also coached his brother to Wimbledon and US Open Junior titles.

Chris began his career in the audio/video industry building and installing sound systems in large theaters, arenas and concert halls. After graduating from Georgia Tech with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he began working as an engineer for Bellsouth Mobility, now Cingular Wireless. He went on to co-found a company specializing in designing and repairing speakers and sales and service of home theaters. In 1997, Chris founded Soundworks, a Home Theater installation and sales company, working initially as a sub-contractor and consultant to custom home theater operations lacking technical expertise, then designing and implementing systems all across the metro Atlanta area. Chris was one of the founding members of Synergy Multimedia in 2001. Chris is currently a member of the Contract Project Management team for the Woodruff Arts Center and is spearheading the AV systems integration for the Woodruff Arts center's $250M expansion project.
